A senior professional with 20+ years of corporate and consulting experience, Andrea joined Bridgepoint in 2010. Her past experience includes working at Deloitte & Touche, Resources Global and other major firms conducting IT audit, application systems implementation and financial operations. She has strong expertise in large scale application systems deployment, project management, IT general controls and application reviews, process review, information security and risk management. In addition, she is seasoned in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other regulatory compliance reviews, IT governance and business process analysis.
Dave Donovan, CFO Consultant
Dave has a strong background in all areas of finance, with public accounting and private industry responsibilities in both public and privately held companies; domestic and international company experience including internal and external financial statement reporting, banking/cash management/investments, capital raising, investor relations, operations support, taxes, credit & collections, risk management/insurance, acquisition analysis, strategic planning/budgeting/forecasting, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance.
Clients range from small early-stage semiconductor, gaming and nanotechnology companies up through large public manufacturing companies. His experience includes both domestic and international operations, Treasury management, financial reporting, investor relations, planning/forecasting, M&A, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and SEC work, among others.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Dave was a senior financial executive at Sigmatel, a publicly held, international fabless semi-conductor company. While with Sigmatel, he held Treasury, reporting, and investor relations positions. In prior years Dave held several senior financial positions at Legerity, Inc., a leading provider of integrated circuits for the telecom industry.
He began his career in the audit and tax departments of PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree – Economics from Duke University. He has also served as a member of the KLRU Community Advisory Board.
Michael Gish, CFO Consultant
As CFO Consultant, Michael provides financial and operational expertise to a broad range of Bridgepoint's early stage clients as well organizations that are in the midst of business realignment or restructuring. He is an experienced entrepreneur and management consultant with extensive experience driving financial and operational improvements for companies from $1mm to $400mm in annual sales through all phases of the corporate life cycle. He has broad industry experience -- including manufacturing, industrial, service, technology, and retail industries. Additionally, he has in-depth expertise in valuation and forensic accounting. Prior to Bridgepoint, Michael held financial leadership positions at multiple companies including Texas Financial Forensics and Deloitte. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
Ross Goolsby, CFO Consultant
Ross is a CFO Consultant in the firm's Austin office with extensive experience in capital markets, including the venture capital and IPO process, international expansion, and merger and acquisitions with high growth companies. He has broad experience in planning and forecasting, treasury and cash management, investor relations, internal controls, information systems, and SEC compliance and reporting. He is the former CFO of several technology companies, including Calxeda, HealthTronics and SigmaTel.
Heath Hindman, Controller/CFO Consultant
Heath is a financial manager with more than 14 years of experience with demonstrated leadership, communication, problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills in high-growth environments. He has comprehensive financial management expertise with concentrations on controllership, tax and treasury, software and SaaS revenue accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, technical accounting issues, and M&A. A graduate of LSU, Heath’s previous experience includes finance roles at LizeSize Communications, Ernst & Young and Golfsmith.
Vicki is a key asset to the IT practice of Bridgepoint Consulting. With more than 20 years of experience, she helps our clients with their IT strategy and execution. She provides internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley engagements, and SSAE 16 Readniness, to name a few. She has a broad range of technical leadership skills in system development, project management, compliance, resource management, systems integration, requirements analysis, testing/quality assurance, software development, software solution evaluation, vendor evaluation and relationships.
Prior to Bridgepoint, much of Vicki's career was leading the IT efforts at National Western Life Insurance and working as a software engineer at IBM.
Brenda Jaeck, CFO Consultant
Brenda is a results-driven and strategic-minded CFO with a history of solid performance and accomplishments. She directs all aspects of financial, accounting and administrative operations and functions in accordance with GAAP regulations and best practices. A focused decision-maker with keen problem solving abilities, Brenda enjoys working in fast-paced environments requiring visionary leadership style. Her comprehensive background spans multiple industries and includes national and multi-national experience. During her career, Brenda has managed multi-million dollar budgets, large-scale projects and projection models with expertise coordinating massive accounting integration and reporting functions.
Stephen McNabb, Manager, Risk Services
As a leader in Bridgepoint’s Risk Services practice in Houston, Stephen works with organizations to improve their business performance through risk management, operational effectiveness, and enhanced governance, as well as providing his expertise in Sarbanes Oxley compliance and internal audit activities. He has more than 10 years of experience working with a range of public and private companies in a variety of industries. Prior to Bridgepoint, Stephen worked at Protiviti as a member of the management team within the Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Solution. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Global Association of Risk Professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University and a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
David Machazire, Director
David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with twenty years of professional services experience in a wide array of public accounting and consulting services on a global scale. As Bridgepoint's newest technical reporting financial leader, Machazire's expertise includes M&A transaction services, technical accounting, financial reporting, regulatory risk management, project management, IPO readiness and analysis of non-routine or complex transactions for SEC registered and privately held companies. His industry exposure includes manufacturing, consumer business, hospitality, real estate, financial services, technology, resources and public sector. David is a subject matter expert on US GAAP, IFRS, SEC and PCAOB regulations. Additionally, he is proficient in technical accounting and auditing research analysis and leverages his business financial analysis and executive leadership skills to manage teams in delivery of proactive and high quality regulatory and financial reporting solutions to clients.
Jeanne is an accomplished accounting professional with 18+ years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies. She has been a key driver to the successful implementation of many Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance projects. Prior to Bridgepoint, she was a senior manager at Ernst & Young in their global mobility practice. A Certified Public Accountant and a University of Texas Graduate, her organized and efficient execution of compliance work plans has given her vast experience in analyzing and testing almost every type of financial process.
Margie Reinhart, Director, Fraud and Forensic Investigation
Margie is a certified CPA, CFF and CFE with over 20 years of experience providing risk management, compliance, internal audit and forensic accounting services to C-level executives in government agencies, law firms and Fortune 500 organizations – eleven years with Deloitte, plus experience with international accounting and consulting firms. As Director in Bridgepoint Consulting's Dallas office, she specializes in financial fraud and forensic investigations in the firm’s Business Turnaround & Restructuring practice area. During her career, Margie has amassed significant expertise in forensic analysis, litigation consulting, risk management, SOX, and internal audit. Prior to joining Bridgepoint, she worked with international accounting and consulting firms while working on a variety of forensic engagements. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management-Accounting and Finance from Ryerson Polytechnic University.
Drew Schaal, CFO Consultant
As CFO Consultant, Drew is a highly accomplished, results-driven financial executive. He has 20+ years of experience leading dynamic, early-stage software companies with their financial, accounting and general operations. His focus is to implement structured process improvements which deliver increased financial controls, revenue growth and profitability. From enhancing relationships with board members, company staff and customers, to mentoring staff to achieve corporate goals, he contributes great leadership and interpersonal skills.
Drew understands the complexities of managing finance, accounting, legal and human resources for fast growing companies and has experienced the gamut of business situations. He has managed the financial process of multiple M&A transactions, including financial modeling, management presentations, due diligence and deal negotiations. He has also developed accurate cash forecasting models allowing his client to avoid bankruptcy.
Prior to his CFO consulting role, Drew has held financial leadership positions at multiple companies, including ALI Solutions and ClearCommerce Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University.
Felipe Vega, CFO Consultant
Felipe is an experienced accounting professional with extensive experience assisting companies with the full spectrum of accounting services and reporting. He has hands-on experience in initial set up of accounting records and the ability to provide expanded reporting capabilities as companies grow and become more complex. He is experienced with domestic and international companies, financial modeling, budget and forecast preparation, as well as integration of accounting processes post-acquisition or merger and software implementation. Felipe's specialized industry experience includes green technology, lead generation technology, oil field services, retail, medical devices and non-profit.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Felipe assisted Legerity, Inc., a leading provider of integrated circuits for the telecom industry, managing thirteen foreign subsidiaries and insuring GAAP compliance. Prior to Legerity, Felipe was the Corporate Controller for Ecogas, an alternative energy company.
Felipe received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University.
Erik White, Manager, Business Turnaround & Restructuring
As Manager of Business Turnaround and Restructuring, Erik helps Bridgepoint clients realign themselves with new strategic plans, crisis management and repositioning. His expertise includes evaluating business plans, developing financial models for recapitalization and restructuring, monitoring bankruptcy initiatives, identifying cost saving strategies and negotiating exit financing. Prior to joining Bridgepoint Consulting, Erik was a director of corporate finance and restructuring at a global business advisory firm. He graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
