Lucas Walters  |  Director, Financial Operations

Lucas Walters

Lucas is Director of Bridgepoint’s Financial Consulting practice in Houston. He provides financial and operational leadership expertise (CFO services) to Bridgepoint clients, and has extensive experience across multiple executive-level functions, including accounting, finance, HR, IT and facility management. Prior to Bridgepoint, he served as a VP of Finance for a fast-growing Austin startup. Walters earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Concordia University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas–Austin. He is a Certified CPA in the state of Texas.

Pete Pearson  |  Director, Startup Services

As Director in Bridgepoint’s Startup Services practice, Pete Pearson helps support and optimize early-stage and fast-growing companies across central Texas. Pearson is a seasoned financial and business leader, who brings over 20 years of experience with Big 4 and public and privately-held high growth companies in a variety of industries. He has a strong background in strategic financial leadership, building and supporting teams in high growth companies, mergers and acquisitions and financial process improvement. A licensed CPA, Pearson received his Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Business Management & Accounting from Oregon State University.

Vijay George  |  Director, Technology Consulting

As Director of Technology Consulting for Bridgepoint, Vijay George leads strategic efforts to support public sector organizations with a broad range of digital transformation initiatives, including IT strategy and planning, assessments, technology optimization, systems integration and cloud migration. George is a strategic and digital transformation leader with more than two decades of executive and technology leadership experience. He has led transformational initiatives designed to increase growth and efficiency for organizations in a wide variety of sectors including utilities, state and local government, IT services and manufacturing. Kristi Kershaw  |  Director, Professional Search

Kristi Kershaw

As Director of Professional Search at Bridgepoint, Kristi leads the overall strategy and operation for the Professional Search practice. Kristi has 15 years of progressive experience in professional accounting and finance roles, including Big 4 public accounting as well as private and publicly-traded companies. In 2007, Kristi transitioned into an Executive Recruiter role for a leading executive search firm. Most recently, she led the talent acquisition efforts for a publicly traded global medical device manufacturer. Kristi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Ross Goolsby  |  Director, Financial Operations

Ross Goolsby

Ross is Director of Bridgepoint’s Financial Consulting practice in Houston. He has extensive experience in capital markets, including the venture capital and IPO process, international expansion, and merger and acquisitions with high growth companies.  He has broad experience in planning and forecasting, treasury and cash management, investor relations, internal controls, information systems, and SEC compliance and reporting. He is the former CFO of several technology companies, including Calxeda, HealthTronics and SigmaTel.

Sam Wood III  |  Director, Technology Consulting

As Director of Technology Consulting, Sam Wood leads strategic efforts to support Bridgepoint clients in a broad range of IT transformation initiatives, including IT planning, systems integration and cyber security. With more than two decades of experience, Wood has broad corporate experience providing IT strategy and execution to companies that are experiencing rapid organizational change. His background also includes comprehensive IT governance, business-to-business integrations, and process improvement including leveraging the ITIL, COBIT and other best practice frameworks. Wood earned two degrees from the University of Texas including a NASA-funded Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Science.

David Roe  |  Managing Director, Risk Services

David has over 25 years of experience in internal audit, accounting management, and corporate governance/compliance. Prior to joining Bridgepoint Consulting, David was an Executive Director in Ernst & Young’s advisory practice serving clients across various industries and ranging from public multinational Fortune 100 to private emerging companies. He led projects covering Internal Audit implementation through outsourcing; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; risk management; and business process/control improvement. David also served as Controller for a manufacturer/distribution company and internal auditor for a large defense contractor.

David leverages his expertise in understanding business issues, people management and technical skills to help companies achieve sustainable risk management and compliance solutions. He received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University, is a Certified Public Accountant* in the state of Texas and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Dawn Ragan  |  Managing Director

Dawn Ragan has 20 years of experience in financial services and turnaround and dispute resolution management. She is skilled in quickly assessing complex situations, developing effective operational and financial restructuring solutions, and managing multiple constituencies. She has experience in a number of industries, such as: Construction, Consumer Products, Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Hospitality and Timeshare, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Retail and Technology. Dawn’s  engagements have included assets and operations in China, Japan, Europe, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, Canada and the United States. She has served in a variety of interim management positions including CFO, COO and Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), and has provided expert witness testimony.

Previously, Dawn was a principal of a national advisory firm. She was also a senior manager and a member of the restructuring practice of a Big Four accounting firm and vice president of a Wall Street investment bank. Dawn  holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Regis University, and an executive MBA from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, and Texas Wall Street Women.

Gina Budd  |  Managing Director, Marketing

Gina brings more than 20 years of in-depth experience in marketing and public relations to Bridgepoint Consulting. She has provided numerous companies with marketing and communications strategies, including small businesses, large healthcare organizations and publicly traded companies. Her past experience includes  managing the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program,  leading accounts at SicolaMartin and directing marketing  and branding  efforts for several start-up companies in Austin. Gina graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University.

Jeff Hiddemen  |  Managing Director, NetSuite Consulting

As Bridgepoint’s NetSuite Consulting practice lead, Jeff is focused on empowering the firm’s team of over 25 NetSuite Consultants with the tools, expertise, best practices and training, to ensure all clients receive best-in-class services and solutions. With over seven years of end-to-end NetSuite implementation and integration consulting experience, Jeff has deployed ERP, CRM and eCommerce strategies for clients ranging from enterprise Fortune 100 to startups.

His industry experience spans Manufacturing, Financial Services, Energy, Retail, Government, Software, Human Resource Management, Wholesale/Distribution and Sports/Entertainment. With 10 years of professional experience prior to joining Bridgepoint, Jeff obtained expertise in accounting, financial analysis, strategy, operations, and product management.  He earned his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
